Whatcha up to these days, @tbaldree? Have you been playing around with any new ideas lately or are you still focused on RGO?

Both good tips. I knew about boosting engines, but I had no idea I could bait them with cargo. Cool to know, thanks.

I’m currently using the default starting engine, so I will save up and see about upgrading that next–assuming my current power generation is sufficient.

I’m exploring adjacent sectors now in an effort to get better paying gigs from the mission board, and still trying to stay on the right side of the law.

Engines and boosters should be your first upgrade. Once you have the ability to just bail on a bad fight the game gets a lot easier.

I’d stay in sector one, join a guild (higher payout) and make sure you keep a buddy (Richter, presumably) with you as a meat shield. Talk to bartenders for treasure tips and go scoop up some good loot for an early payout -

Wrapping up this last stuff for RGO/consoles/modkit, but then I’m done and riding into the sunset. Last game!

What??? Well, thanks for the fun you have given us over the years. :)

Wowsa. Very sad for us but hopefully happy for you?

I’ll miss your games. Thanks for RGO as the cherry on top!

With all the tons of hours I’ve put into my various copies of Torchlight, Torchlight 2 especially(!), and the Rebel Galaxies, I guess there’s nothing more I could have asked for.

Yup, it’s a happy move for me :) Going to do another career for a while that I’m having a good time with.

Hey Travis did the 3D printing thing ever get sorted? I really want a 3D-printed Beluga. Also congrats on the career move. We’ll miss you in the gaming world, but you’ve made a helluva legacy.

Fate, the Torchlights, the Rebel Galaxies… not a bad run at all.

“Good luck in your future endeavors”

Bummer no more games from Baldree. Been enjoying them all since Fate. Good luck to you in your future endeavors!

Nope, I get the impression they have struggled a lot with the French codebase after they bought it…

Sigh, well that’s a damned shame.

Enjoy it, I will miss your games as they have given me so many hours of enjoyment and you showed what a small but passionate team can pull off. Good luck with whatever you do next. It was a wild ride and RGO is a great farewell.

Your games have been awesome, but I hope the new career is even better for you and you’ll get to enjoy games even more now that they aren’t work (and you could always mod Bethesda games if you ever miss the sensation, LOL).

@tbaldree thanks for the games, wish you luck in your next career. Are you going to still PLAY them and shoot the shit here?

Voice acting? You always seem to have so much fun with that aspect! Sorry I still haven’t played RGO but I will give a go soon knowing it’s your final game.

Sorry to hear that! RGO wasn’t my perfect game but I certainly enjoyed the hell out of it. And of course Torchlight and Torchlight 2 were amazing.

Yeah. This is a bitter-sweet moment. On one hand, his games are legendary. OTOH, I want more!

Good luck in your future endeavors @tbaldree. Godspeed!
