Sorry, it was just a really funny exchange, I didn’t mean to sound down on B5. I was a fan of the show. But that particular picture being chosen, it just doesn’t look flattering now. The CG hasn’t aged nearly as well as when actual models were used, though I used to think differently back when B5 was originally airing.
That’s like saying Pearl Jam is a wannabe cover band of Creed.

I agree with the sentiment (that B5 is awesome) but this analogy is nonsensical!
It’s more like saying Dream Theater is just a wanbabe cover of Fates Warning
I’m right about “no DRM” meaning that I’ll only need to run the EGS app to download/install, and maybe patch the game, right? I don’t need to be running it to play the game?
A quick note on DRM in case any of you for some reason end up playing a pre-release version -
THAT version will have a light check to relaunch the launcher if it was not launched from it, mostly in an effort to keep incomplete versions from being trivially widely distributed. The thought of not-final code out there, even if it’s torrented, makes me itch.
That check will be removed for the final release.
Hooray! Bought, then. Seems a freaking steal for 30 bucks right out of the gate.

Still no news coverage about it at PCGamer.com.
There was a thread at Era as well I saw, had a lot of activity going, which I took as a good sign.

If @BrianRubin is anything to gauge by, it will be worth the wait.
All hail Travis and the Sensible Price Overlords. I had to refresh the EGS page to make sure that wasn’t an error because for some reason I was expecting it to be a lot more. No idea why really, but yay!
One question though, if I pre-order it do you get the cash immediately @tbaldree or is there some kind of waiting period during which Epic rolls around in it for a while?
My first Epic store purchase. I’ll be on vacation in Ireland when this comes out. I guess friends, pubs and walks in the countryside will have to do for entertainment.
Sounds dreadful.
We’ll be in front of our screens.
I’ll be just back from my nephew’s Bar-Mitzvah over the previous weekend (not a traditional one-- my brother is an atheist so…).
I still remember people saying the exact same things about Steam when it started. ‘Shame it’s on Steam, I’ll never get to play it since I won’t buy from there’ Now people say if it isn’t on Steam they won’t buy it. Amazing how things change the same.
I’d be all over this if my system wasn’t trash.
