Can’t wait for August @tbaldree. I’ve stayed away from this thread because @BrianRubin lording it over the peons and telling us how much fun he was having with a game only he could play was a bit grating after a while.
But now that release is in sight, I’ll be in as soon as I’m back from my unfortunately timed holiday. Guess that will be another week where I’ll be jealous and will avoid reading this thread. :)

Nope. August 13, 2019 is the launch date for Rebel Galaxy Outlaw on the Epic Games Store.
It’s funny but, my brain keeps mixing this year up with 2020. Wait, maybe that’s not actually funny.
As I’m clearly losing the plot and will soon be unable to tell what year it is, I’ve broken my “I don’t pre-order anything” rule to pre-order it. Sorry wallet. I’m thinking it will be far better on August 13 (2019) to wake up and remember I already bought the game. That’s assuming I can remember anything by then.
You guys got me so hyped for this game (especially Brian’s comment with regards to the combat) that I applied to switch my vacation over from the previous week to the week of the game’s release. It went through. I am hype.
There should be an achievement for that.
