I remember cursing my old man for not upgrading the family PC because slewing the TIALD in Tornado was sluggish as fuck. Then I found out I needed to clean the gunk off the mouses’ rollers. Yeah.
Tornado was/is fucking brilliant. I agree.
Totally, it was my favorite jet sim until EF2000 came along.

So Sidewinder to CH… You’re following my upgrade cycle from 1997. :)
I actually am still using CH Pro Pedals on my second PC. I don’t get the people who drop $400 on rudder pedals. My other set is the cheap Thrustmaster T.16000 bundle pedals.
I too have the CH Pro Pedals. Love them.
Oh and I’m still using the Sidewinder as my stick. Never replacing that.
Gameport or USB?
I like pivot over slide, or I would have bought one of those throttles instead of a Saitek setup. I had a CH Flightstick for a long time, it worked perfectly and was built like a tank.
USB. C’mon. ;)
This actually replaces a Saitek X52-Pro throttle. I love that throttle but I’m SUPER excited about this one.

No reason not to have all the throttles.
I didn’t go all the way to 400, paid 250 for used MFG’s. Consider them totally worth it as I finesse a Tomcat’s nose around a high alpha manoeuvre allowing me to brrrrt a MiG into a slowly divergent formation of burning aircraft scrap.
Not flight sim, but, um whoa. If whoever repackaged this actually made it work, whoa. Holy grail stuff here.
Wow! Boy did I put a lot of time into that game back in the day.
It didn’t work for me at first, but once I turned off G-SYNC it worked!
