I’ve been testing this thing called SimpleLogin (from the Protonmail guys). Seems to work pretty well.
You can generate email addresses that are then forwarded to your main email. If one gets compromised then you can just disable it.
Yeah, I will sometimes do that too. One gmail tip that works when I remember to use it is you can send any email to [yourname]+[whatever]@gmail.com and it will get routed to [yourname]@gmail.com.
This is an obscure part of the email spec that most websites don’t implement, so they will interpret those two addresses as two different accounts. So if you need a “throwaway” address that you can reliably build a filter around, you can use that too.
