Same, that early Edge of Sanity catalogue is fantastic. I slightly favoured Spectral Sorrows, but Unorthodox, Purgatory Afterglow, and Crimson are all essential. :)

It’s always funny to see what people pick :) I think Crimson is my favorite, but Unorthodox is also a serious contender. It really earns the name.

I love that they didn’t just tow the line. Something always had to be different, like the Manowar cover on Spectral Sorrows, or Black Tears on Purgatory Afterglow.

For me, everything I’ve heard from this newest album (dropping very soon) is taking me a bit of time to warm up to.

Same here, and I’m a long time Ghost fan since the first album. I like Little Sunshine quite a bit now, but musically and lyrically Twenties is very strange.

Another ‘small’ band! The last album was somewhat weak, but hey, not all can be hits. Their lyrics could be better too, once I actually put myself to read them and yeah, not the best. Not that I usually care for lyrics in music.

Yeah I agree. They were one of my favorites. I saw them 3 or 4 years ago at the Palladium with Floor fronting the band, and they were playing from their entire catalogue. It was a really long set, and they were awesome. I think it was one of the few times I saw a band at their peak, that show/tour was Nightwish at their best. Doing Tarja’s songs :)
