Oh right, I did find that O’Driscoll camp out west, and then the Raider camp down south. Am I supposed to do something there? I just avoided them because they were full of dudes.

Well crap. House on this O’Driscall ranch I just cleared, I see glowing loot in it, but door is locked and no way to enter the house.

Dynamite sometimes works in those situations…

You might wanna jump through the window, if you are talking same ranch I think of.

Yeah. I knew something was afoot, but I wanted to know what would happen so I went with it. After I woke up I went back with a vengeance.

I did exactly the same thing. I’m always interested to see how stuff plays out.

I’ve run into a few who actually invited me over and talked about stuff.

Tried and it won’t let me. Even after breaking the windows out. Also, door is dynamite proof.

NVM - had to clear every shard of glass out. Thanks.

Yup. I gave him more whiskey.

I’ve come across a Yankee soldier missing his right arm and a Reb missing his left leg. And a bunch of Lemoyne raiders just generally being dicks. I kill a lot of Lemoyne raiders.

I liked how Arthur handled the former slave owner and his possessions in the one side mission (its a ? quest).

I feel the need to go back to the house near Valentine and see if anyone moved into the house the father and 2 sons were building, I haven’t been up there in a few days.

I think I somehow messed up the mission with the guy with the house and sons. I fought off bad guys with them, and at one point he asked If I’d get him lumber. I said sure, then forgot all about it. I stopped in on him while riding by, didn’t have the wood, but gave him money instead. Since then, when I go to the house, he shows up as a white circle on the map, but the Greet option is dimmed out and I can’t interact with him.

I know if you do go get the wood, the lumber camp actually has a 1-2 quests.

Yup. It was obvious from very early on what was going to happen, but I wanted to play it out.

Yeah, I screwed up and forgot to get the wood after agreeing to, and talked to the Dad, and now I guess he’s upset enough with me he won’t even talk to me.

Oh yes, I meant to ask you guys about the lumber camp. The lumber camp outside of Strawberry, I rode by and the guy talked to me, but I had to go take care of something with my toddler getting into the garbage (in real life), and when I got back, the cutscene was over. After that, the guy always asks me if I got what he was looking for, and Arthur replies “No, not yet”. What’s that about? What am I supposed to bring him?

If you hit left on the d pad, you should be able to review any outstanding quests. I say quests like this is a D&D game, but you get my drift.

I completed the lumber quest for the father and they got the house built; rode by some time later and he paid me off plus interest. A while after that I rode by again and sure enough a couple had moved in and were growing crops in their yard. Pretty cool.

Also, at the lumber camp, I took care of a job for them and then later on I guess they’d cleared out enough timber to move on to another spot. It was cool to watch when the camp was in action with trees being felled and loaded onto train cars with the crane machinery built by the tracks.

He wanted some goods, I forget exactly what, but its stuff you usually pick up from looting shacks.

OMG , still in chapter 3, and offered my 4th fishing quest! :D

So I’m out and about doing my thing and all of a sudden Javier rides up and says Dutch is worried about me and he came to check up and did I want to ride back to camp with him? I thought this might be a thing so agreed. We fast traveled back to camp and… nothing. So I guess the boys really did just miss me. I stuck around, did a few chores, played a few hands of poker and chatted everyone up. Gangs are cool!
