We should probably have a thread for Bernie. The video game industry as we know it was shaped in part by him.
Like many a SEGA fan in the 90’s, Bernie wasn’t my favorite guy, especially as we learned how much he messed with Japanese games arriving (not arriving…) in the US on Sega Saturn. However he did demand that modem for Dreamcast, and that was pretty cool.
RIP game executive.
Yeah I wasn’t a fan of Peter Moore or Bernie Stolar but he was a big deal.
