Riddick
No Fucking in the Courtyard
Isn’t that a song by Oasis?
Agreed :) Although I think it is as good as you hear it is :D (See my post in the other Riddick thread for explanation).
Oh sure, Vin would be the one who had to leave to work out if he came over to your house. Right.
Nope, that would be Fuckin’ In the Bushes.
So did anyone else waste a good hour collecting moths for those cigarette packs?
I actually gave up after the intial ten. Going for the 20-moth pack would have been detrimental to my sanity.
Actually, there are lots more moths in the mines. You can get 20 pretty quickly. Haven’t figured out how to trade 'em back once you’re in the mines though :?

I always think the same thing about Vin.
I too think it’s as good as I’ve heard. Sorta like Deus Ex!
maybe im going through the game entirely too quickly, i just jumped sections without finishing a whole laundry list of missions… whoops
That’s an entirely valid way to play, Maux.
Pretty much all you get for side missions are money, which is never really needed, and cigarettes, which are just signals that you’ve unlocked a bit of concept art or a movie still.

Thats what kind of bugged me about it, Tom, Ive been going out of my way to rescue cigarette packs out of grates or some crazy ledge and then I somehow manage to bypass 6 or so missions by mistake (with the rat list and reading glasses in my possession, no less). No matter, this game is still really fun.
Yeah, I was pretty excited by how non-linear it seemed like it was going to be with all the side quests. But once I realized there was really no incentive to run those quests, I just sort of ignored them. Although some of the text and artwork on the cigarette packs was pretty funny.
Unlockable concept art is so incredibly lame. I remember in one of the recent Mortal Kombat game, you would randomly choose your ‘prizes’. I always thought of the concept art as a booby prize.
-Tom
Especially the concept art showing you some scene or vehicle that was cut or didnt make it into the game.
Maybe Steel Battalions Line Of Contact could have some unlockable concept art of a bunch of Americans playing online and having fun?
Oomph. Now that hurt, Maux! :)
-Tom
Oooh, that’s harsh.
yeah, no kidding.
Looks like a PC version of Riddick is in the pipeline for the end of the year as well as potential sequels:
Damn, if I’d known I would have waited. Riddick’s a game that really needs more horsepower than the Xbox can provide.
