88 years old.
He had a good run until 88 and didn’t succumb to talking to empty chairs sort of thing.
Wow. I had no idea he was that old. Seemed like a nice guy.
Can’t believe it. He seemed so energetic and young even a couple years ago. Quite saddened by this.
I never watched his stuff much but I caught snippets of Regis & Kathy Lee or Millionaire back in the day and was impressed with his sheer charisma. RIP.

He did a weekly Saturday Night in St. Louis show in the early '70’s. I never really watched it but the name stuck with me – Regis Philbin is an unusual name.
