Totally deserved IMO. Hubbard is certainly on the shortlist for ‘greatest chiptune composer of all time.’
The guy did some amazeballs stuff. Looking at the traces, you can see how he was constantly changing the waveform of each of the SID’s three generators, and not only that, but changing the ADSR as well in like a tenth of a second for a note. That is some advanced synth shit and a testament not only to him, but Bob Yannes as well.
