Apparently there’s leaked DLC lists for the next few weeks. Roy Orbison, Lennie Kravitz, and Steve Miller. I like the latter two in GHWT, so I imagine at least one from each would be good. Orbison I know next to nothing about, but I’ll see what it’s like when it comes out. Needless to say, still no Texas Flood.
Awesome. Are you gonna go my way is a must-buy for me. As are the two Steve Miller Band songs. I wonder if I’m familiar with Roy Orbison? It sounds like someone I’ve probably heard before, but I didn’t know at the time that I who I was listening to.

Have you ever seen the movie Pretty Woman? Yeah, they named the movie based on his song.
He was a damn talented songwriter, singer, and guitarist from the late 50s through the early 80s and had a very distinctive voice.

Wow. Kids today.
Also, if you’ve ever heard The Traveling Wilburys Vol. 1, he was one of the Wilburys.
I’m not big on Orbison, and I can’t STAND Steve Miller. But Are You Gonna Go My Way is a song I’ve been wanting for a while now. Not thrilled with this months list overall, though, assuming it’s correct.
Is Orbison an attempt to bring in the Elvis-type crowd? Are they skewing older for some reason? To me, Orbison has always sounded like a mellow Elvis (kinda looked like him too).

Yeah, it’s a shame he passed away between Vol. 1 and Vol. 3.

What’s the best site for new RB DLC information, if such a site exits.
I like rbdlc.com, and I think there was another site recommended upthread (I think, I don’t have my bookmarks handy) that seemed pretty good. If you just meant dlc announcements rather than previews, the news ticker does a good job there.

Thanks Lizard_King, just what I was looking for. In one of the threads someone mentioned that they think Appetite For Destruction is “close”, or they feel it is. I’m all tingly!!!
I am completely buying the Orbison pack this week, if only to support the inclusion of music that’s older in Rock Band.

How’s that working out for you?
In other news, there is nothing that music labels can’t shit up: Time Warner takes on Youtube RB videos. For their next move, they will try to sue everyone who talks about the music they own the rights to, followed by anyone who has ever listened to it.
Megasus “Megasus”
I almost missed that. For those of you that have forgotten how great Red Lottery was in GH2. It’s probably my third favorite bonus track from that game, apart from Thunderhorse and Six.
The Orbison pack is awesome! Already I have serenaded my own Claudette…

So with this Lenny Kravitz pack, we’ll be a bunch of guys pretending to rock on songs by a guy pretending to rock. So very meta of them.
You know what? I’m going to pick up my REAL guitar and stop with this fun video game shit! Yeah! That’s what I’m gonna do!
I was there for that actually, he was so nervous. If I’d have known when he was proposing I wouldn’t have been sitting in the back getting in their pictures :p

I was only going to buy one or two of the Orbison songs, but I fell in love with every single one when I previewed them. Great voice.
