Ah, me too. I haven’t bought a non-album pack since the first NIN tracks came out, when I found that I’m stuck with March of the Pigs.

Thanks for the insight on the Dead. We might have pick those up.

But March of the Pigs is fun to drum!

The IGN story on the Dead pack has, strangely enough, been pulled.

I dunno about album versions. Uncle John’s Band is, in terms of fan appreciation, the standout in that pack. One of the ten or twelve minute live versions would have been epic. Next would probably be Fire on the Mountain (we need a live Scarlet>Fire!). Cold Rain and Snow also good. The clunker, musically, is Hell in a Bucket, although maybe the note chart will be fun.

Franklin’s Tower is one of my favorite tracks to play.

I really enjoy the guitar on Sugar Magnolia (on Hard).

I definitely like Alabama Getaway the most, mostly because it’s uptempo.

I don’t mind the Dead; I got the first pack and I’ll buy this one too. But their songs are so damn slow.

I own Franklin’s Tower, Sugar Magnolia, and of course Alabama Getaway. These 3 songs are prime examples of stuff I love to play in Rock Band but would never listen too on my IPod. So I will need to see the charts on these new Dead songs before I decide whether to purchase them.

Mute Math - Typical on drums is frikkin’ amazing. I know cuz I saw them live. :p

I just got the country pack in case tastes are that varied at a party tomorrow. Wow, Sin Wagon.

Hell yeah, a Scarlet>Fire would be sick! I’m definatley an old Dead/Phish head, so I love these tracks, but from a purely gameplay standpoint Jerry’s solo’s are pretty sweet to play. Sugar Mags is a pretty catchy tune for non-Dead heads, but my Fave so far has got to be Franklins Tower (if only it was a Help>Slip>Frank). I agree that Hell in a Bucket is probably the weak link in the new Pack, but the rest are good choices. I really wish they would use Live tracks though, the Dead’s studio stuff is kinda flat.

That does look pretty awesome. Thanks.

So yeah, it’s official.

Grateful Dead Pack 02

Hell In a Bucket
Don’t Ease Me In
Cold Rain & Snow
Doin’ That Rag
Fire On the Mountain
Uncle John’s Band

Still no Touch of Grey.

Still no Texas Flood.

Fixed. :(

You know… perhaps it’s time HMX addressed the album delay. I mean, goddamn! I want some blues up in this muthafucka!

It really is a shame they didn’t use live versions. My favorite to play of the tracks released so far is Chinacat, but every time I play the relatively tepid studio version I wish it were the start of an early 70s China>Rider. Of course, then I’d have to play bass to drop that awesome Phil bomb.

Touch of Grey would be really nice.

Actually, Touch of Grey is the one Dead song I might actually DL. I’m not a big fan, overall, but that’s a pretty good song.

If they are going to be doing so many classic rock songs, I wish they would do Surrender by Cheap Trick. I just think it’s perfect for RB.

It was in GH2, in case you don’t know.

I didn’t, actually, thanks, but I haven’t played any of the GH games. I don’t even play guitar in RB. Still, it’s good to know that the license isn’t the issue. Now they just need to add it!

If they are going to be doing so many classic rock songs, I wish they would do anything by Cheap Trick.

And how about “Pretenders” as album DLC?
