We will get bored, which will be interpreted as breaking.

I’m already bored.

Some Texas Flood/Duke Nukem would go a long way towards fixing this.

This is punk. That Old 97s song is country as fuck.

What part of “alt-country” are you guys finding confusing, exactly?

I’m holding out for this, personally. Neither Jeff nor Jay has had anything in one of these games, so it might never happen, but I could definitely go for a “Still Feel Gone” album release.

Midnight Son can finally shut up because Texas Flood is coming “next month”.

edit: On closer inspection, I guess it is actually next week. Which, granted, is also next month, but still.

You got a source for this?

It’s in the Rock Band email zine. It showed up in my inbox about 5 minutes ago.

Shacknews just covered the new album too:

$16 for the 10 tracks? Not bad. The way you guys have been building this up. This had better be as good as AC/DC Live’s track pack.

Damn, that sucks. I was hoping it’d be something good this week. Such a disappointment. Bah. I’m switching to GH:WT.

Texas Flood isn’t ‘this week’, just ‘this month’.

No, it’s definitely this coming week.

If that’s true, I blame ambiguous email newsletters…

Was the box of text in the newletter that says “Look for Texas Flood on Xbox360 and PS3 next week for $15.99/1280 Microsoft Points” really that ambiguous?

The box at the bottom says that, but the box at the top right says “next month”. It’s the reason that, in my original post, I said, “next month, no next week.”

Now I’m really confused, as the ‘you guys get the sneak peek’ bit indicated to me that the newsletter (or at least, parts of it) wasn’t out yet to anybody else except those already subscribing? Especially as it was a ‘smaller’ version of the usual newsletter, which generally takes up the whole email.

I mean, moot point really as next week and next month are one and the same by now, so… Shrugs

And, lo, the death of a meme.

Yes. Everyone can now switch to the “I’m waiting for Pearl Jam’s Ten” meme.

I’m waiting for Pearl Jam’s Ten.
