Slightly off-topic: Every time I hear Rock Band Unplugged mentioned, I get excited all over again because I imagine this game as being Rock Band, but with stripped down songs, like on MTV’s unplugged series. But instead, it’s just Harmonix’s new upcoming PSP game which reportedly is a lot like Amplitude/Frequency.

Damn it, someone should make an ACTUAL Rock Band Unplugged.

Back on topic: I’ll definitely be getting REO Speed Wagon, just to get more familiar with the band, since I know quite a few people who are fans.

Did you live through the eighties (particularly in the United States)?

If so, you’ve heard them, probably a lot, and you probably forgot about them. They’re one of those bands that are kind of just all over the place. I’m glad to see them in, though I probably won’t buy any of this, for much the same reason that I don’t buy pretty much anything for Rock Band any more (I’ve got other games I haven’t played, dammit).

These are good songs, especially the REO Speedwagon songs. But I’d really love to have Grand Illusion, if we’re going to have Styx. Again, though, I like Renegade and (especially) Blue Collar Man.

Are those live versions the ones that will be in RB, MS? That would be great. They have excellent energy in those videos.
