I’m not sure how plausible Zombie is, at least from a vocals standpoint.
Well, might as well try, but I’m glad Linger is there anyway. I wouldn’t mind Salvation, though.
Also, for some reason of mid 90s association, Cannonball from The Breeders!
Granted I’d just love a giant mid to late 90s collection anyway. 4 Non-blondes, Breeders, Goo Goo Dolls even. I guess that’s normal, though, everyone wants the music of their teenage years back.
Why isn’t Zombie plausible for vocals?

Wasn’t that their biggest radio hit by a wide margin?
I would pay serious money for that.
I’ll take Seether by Veruca Salt, thank you very much.
Oh, and I’ll take just about anything from The Cranberries. Zombie. Linger. Empty. Ode to My Family. I’m not sure how challenging some of them would be for the rest of the band, but I’d love to sing them. Beautiful songs. Plus I’d get to roll out a little faux Irish accenting every now and again. Linger suits me just fine. I just hope I can keep the rest of the band awake.
It’s funny how listening to music now has this extra element to it. Every song I hear now goes through the “Would I want this for Rock Band” filter.

“I try to cram her into my mouth, yeah.”
I don’t think there are any curse words in it, if that’s what you mean. If you mean it’s hard to sing, it’s really not, or if it is for some people, then it is. But so are many other songs that are in RB.

If we’re going for the Breeders, I would humbly suggest Divine Hammer as another great song.
So, today youtube suspended npean’s account. He’s the guy who posted excellent videos every tuesday so we could all get a look at the DLC charts. He says it was Universal Music that was mostly responsible. What a crock of shit! Music companies are truly run by fucking morons. Take down free advertising!
Harmonix needs to post DLC videos themselves every Tuesday. That’s the only answer. No way their business partners can object to that, right? Right?
I don’t think there’s any way Harmonix would ever publish the videos with full video and audio themselves, but if this is how it’s going to be, they should give us preview videos with snippets of the charts and music so we at least have some idea of what we’re buying.
The music companies have been flailing around causing their own demise for years. Never mind that the research shows that filesharing increases sales, never mind that common fucking sense says a Youtube video of a Rock Band chart cannot possible lead to lost sales–by god they own the music and you will pay every time you listen even if it means nobody listens and nobody pays.
If Harmonix doesn’t see reduced sales from this, even slightly, I’ll be surprised.
When I’m on the fence about the song, the chart becomes just as important, and occasionally, I’ll download a song simply because the chart looks fun to play, and not based at all on the song itself. It’s not just me; this type of purchase is very common, and without any sort of previews, Harmonix is going to lose that business.
Yup. I never buy a song I don’t already like without looking at the chart first.
That would be awesome. Feed The Tree by Belly is in Rock Band PSP, hopefully it ends up as DLC soon.
My main wish for DLC is Local H though. Even though there’s only 2 of them, it would still be fantastic.
Feed The Tree is available. I’m not sure if it is available for the Wii yet though if that is what you have.

Fuck Universal. All they did is lose my money.
Yes. I am unlikely to buy any new tracks that I don’t know well already. Thanks for making this game a clone of my ipod, assholes.
I never noticed it in the store (PAL 360 version here). Will get it tonight.
They’d have to add an achievement for finishing What Would You Have Me Do?
I bought the Ministry pack but yeah … I’d love some of the other stuff in their library.
Some YouTube searching revealed that there are actually a bunch of other accounts that do the same thing as npean, so we won’t be completely without previews. It just takes a little more effort to search.
Of course, none of those other accounts are as comprehensive, and the videos of most are not as high quality. Also they’re mostly just guitar, so that doesn’t really help drummers as much.
As another side note of suck, closing npean’s account has completely crippled rbdlc.com, which almost completely relied upon his videos for their reviews sections.
Speaking of drumming, fucking Metallica man … I love them but they have the hardest drum parts I’ve ever seen. FFS, and Megadeth is no prize either.
