Just wait until you hit Dream Theater.

Yeah, and Rush is a LOT of fun on the harder levels. Heh. I obviously just need to get better…

One thing that Npaen did that I really liked was show what someone who was good at the game but not perfect would do playing a track for the first time, usually his little comments about each track fit my own playstyle and tastes perfectly.

Beatles came on the radio this morning…man I can’t wait. Plus my guitar just broke.

Opening up a Rock Band savings account today.

Try looking up Alcoholicans. It’s two guys who play guitar and drums at the same time, posting their expert sightreads. The guitarist is about the same as npean skill-wise. Good quality videos too.

I don’t know if they cover every single bit of DLC, but they have all of the songs from the last update. They’ll probably be my go-to preview source now.

You must be gently weeping.

Uh damn. Serious DLC incomming…

Yeah cause if you are, we are all gonna KEEEEL you!!

So awesome!

Can I play with Madness? Awesome! I sing that to myself all the time. Of course, I’m absolutely terrible at it. Definitely Iron Maiden’s most pop-friendly song that everyone can learn to like.

It’s from the official Rock Band Community Zine. It doesn’t seem to be on the website yet. But it’s definitely in my inbox.

Cool, I’ve got it too. So all I can say is

He’s not - it’s in the Email newsletter.

I have never, ever been more excited for DLC than I am now. I read that announcement and my whole body literally started vibrating in my chair.

Yeah. The only downer is that I’m not good enough to play most Maiden songs on Expert. But, I mean fuck, Hallowed Be Thy Name? Aces High? I can’t very well not buy that. I may even buy all of it.

Now then, to find my old Trooper poster from highschool.

Whoa. This is the first must-have DLC since Moving Pictures, for my money.

Although isn’t it spelled Clairvoyant?

Powerslave!

I don’t know anything about the quality of these live recordings, so I have reservations about Aces High. But still, Aces High!

Fear of the Dark (Live) is the definitive version of the song, and I’ve yet to hear it performed poorly even in more recent recordings. Crowds just love it. They’d be insane to go with the studio version, because RB’s regular crowd chanting can’t match up to that, since I don’t recall them echoing the lead guitar. I guess they’ll do something to make it fit in with the usual audio scheme in the game.

Anyway, if there’s one band that can stand a few live tracks it’s this one.

Wait a second, we already have Number of the Beast as DLC. I guess this is the non-cover version?

And yay for Run To The Hills… I … er… guess…

WHITE MEN CAME! THEY STOLE OUR PINBALL MACHINES!
