As big a Green Day fan as I am (music of my adolescence and all that), it’s a disappointing pack. I’d expected “Know Your Enemy”, but hoped it’d be alongside Brain Stew/Jaded (yep, I want it combined, just like the video), or When I Come Around. Or Warning. Or American Idiot. And Longview. There’s so much to pick from, I’m not sure why this is what they went with (well, I am, promotion, but come on guys).
I’ll buy it but I agree that they really need to start mining that back catalog. I mean, come on.
Aye, good stuff but shame they missed Peacemaker.

I’m quite looking forward to this pack as well, really like 21 Guns (probably my favourite song on the album after Last of the American Girls.) but to be honest, I think it’s expected they went for the new stuff first - it’s obvious even from the press release there’s more coming. But I am surprised they only went with three songs after the last two named packs (Alice Cooper and Maiden) both had six tracks. Three new and three older ones would have been perfect.
Next week: Evanescence and Spinal Tap. Set amps to 11!

Yeah, I don’t even listen to the second album. I never had a lot of hope for my favourite Evanescence song though, the non-album version of My Immortal.

Okay, I’ll admit it: I’m all over that Evanesance.
While I do want the full band version, this one was the first encore song in GH2 if you want to give the guitar a spin.
What? I’m also confused here. I love Spinal Tarp, but anything from the movie would be preferable. In fact, I actually think Stonehenge is a good song, objectively! Rock and Roll Creation (?) is also great, with our without on stage pods.
Why, it’s yet another promotion! That is only excusable when it gets us Styx/REO or Iron Maiden!
