That is awesome.

Yeah, I’ll pick up My Name Is Jonas because it was one of the best charts in GH3, but Weezer is pretty dull on both guitar and drums.

Whilst there’s not much room for a great variation in charting My Name Is Jonas, the Rock Band one is inferior to the GH3 one, at least on Hard.

Yeah, I checked out the video at RBDLC, and I think I’ll end up passing. It’s not a song I’d play a whole lot and if I really feel the need to play it I can boot up GH3 instead. I think a moratorium on buying more Weezer in general is fine with me. Unless they release “Suzanne.”

I did end up getting the whole KISS pack, though.

Tracks available on Xbox 360 and Wii (Aug. 4) and PLAYSTATION 3 system (Aug. 6):

Spinal Tap “(Funky) Sex Farm”
Spinal Tap “(Listen to the) Flower People (Reggae Stylee)”
Spinal Tap “America”
Spinal Tap “Big Bottom”
Spinal Tap “Cups and Cakes”
Spinal Tap “Gimme Some Money”
Spinal Tap “Heavy Duty”
Spinal Tap “Hell Hole”
Spinal Tap “Rock ‘n’ Roll Creation”
Spinal Tap “Stonehenge”
Spinal Tap “Tonight I’m Gonna Rock You Tonight”

THAT’S what I’m talking about!

Awesome!

Heh. My wife will be thrilled. I actually like RocknRoll Creation and Stonehenge as songs, not just jokes. I think they are just good, solid songs.

Anyway, I was hoping they’d do this after the other Spinal Tap tease.

Those are Spinal Tap’s remakes from their recent album. I actually like some of them better than the original versions, but overall I would have preferred the originals.

Funky Sex Farm is kind of lame. They played it on The Daily Show on Wednesday.

But Big Bottom? Yes.

Are they significantly different from the versions in the film?

I’ve modified my TV to go up to 11.

HMX used to put out iconic important albums. I guess that’s over.

Yup; don’t let the thread hit you on your way out!

(is he gone yet?)

Jackpot.

Agreed 100%, except for the wife part.

I’m writing from inside the thread!

Yup, and you just found something else to complain about.

I don’t know about yours, buy my world isn’t perfect yet.

If you don’t think Spinal Tap is iconic then I just feel sorry for you.

I’m going to introduce Big Bottoms with, “And on bass, EVERY BASS PLAYER IN THE KNOWN UNIVERSE!”
