So, I’ve just played the Gorillaz pack. They all start off fairly simple, but layer upon layer gets added with each song, and I’d call Clint Eastwood the hardest, on guitar, just for the first solo. Save your star power for it, it’s a big ol’ pull-off section with some skips in it. Rough stuff for sure. The second solo has a few trickier spots, but much easier.

None of them are particularly hard, but they’re refreshingly different, like the band itself. Good plays.

Oh, GREAT effects use. And nice that they got the drummer rapping for Clint Eastwood. Whoever set up the transitions and effects created the perfect atmosphere on this pack.

The drums are kinda boring, as expected, on Rehash and Clint Eastwood, but there’s a lot more going on in Feel Good Inc. than I expected. Glad that one’s fun since it’ll probably get the most play at parties.

I guess it’s just one of those things where to people who don’t know much about music (me), you just overlook things. I was completely oblivious to the high-hat going the whole time in the song till I listened to it again after having drummed it.

Nice!!! I was afraid all these new songs cater to the hardcore players so the difficulty would be high but thankfully they ain’t. I’m a very low Hard difficulty player so the 2 songs I’m interested in(Piece of me heart, White bunny) are perfect for me. It’s like they know me!

But only one Janis Joplin(also one J airplane)? She died 40yrs ago, why couldn’t they throw in Bobby McGee and another track or 2? Who controls her music, are they asking too much to license? Or maybe Harmonix didn’t want anymore? What’s the story?

pretty sure the RB2 patch is tied to the RBN patch, as previously discussed.

Makes total sense from a software / programming perspective. These patches are expensive in every dimension, so best to have one mega-patch than a few smaller ones.
