I would say that Led Zeppelin has more songs that would fit the game than the Beatles. My main concern about the Beatles game is that the instrument charts will be kind of boring. Suuposedly Harmonix chose most of the on-disk tracks with chart fun factor in mind. But the DLC could get boring.
I don’t see that being a problem with Zeppelin.

fantastic dlc week!
As for the unspecified band specific game – gotta go with Zeppelin on this one. I think Harmonix would pursue the unknown and that’d be the bigger coup, as the Stones have been in a smattering of games (RB1 + GH3 + GH5). But I think the Stones could also support a band-specific game.
So Pearl Jam is just doing the Ten DLC and day-1 release of the new album? No RB:Pearl Jam in the future?

God, I hope not. PJ is great, and all, but they’re no Zeppelin or Stones in terms of music industry impact.

Rock Band: Rush. Costs $60 and over half the songs have already been released.

Rock Band Nirvana.
Just as the game gets good, your XBox RRODs.
(I don’t care if Penny Arcade got a Nirvana joke first ¬_¬)
I almost wrote in the thread last week saying that what I’d really like to see is some Tom Petty. But not this Tom Petty. To have him premiere on the platform without “American Girl” just seems wrong.

But but but guys Neversoft just released “Duelin’ Banjos” this week as DLC… surely that beats Harmonix!

ADREE, DONT FORGET THE NEW GUITAR HERO XBOCKS AVATAR SCHWAG! FOR A FEE!!!
This.
My favorite song from Silence of the Lambs. I loved trying to cheese it out with tabs on the guitar. It ended up sounding pretty sad, but I loved playing with it anyway.

On the actual topic of the thread, just downloaded some stuff, having finally returned to the land of Rock. Let me just say that if you haven’t already got “Jailbreak,” you need to.
I didn’t know what “Jailbreak” referred to and I didn’t feel like searching the thread, or even this page. So I Googled it.
This is what happened, and I loved it.
Sorry if this is off topic, Evony.

TL;DW. For the record, I’m referring to Thin Lizzy’s Jailbreak.
Yeah, it’s way too long (WTL). I admit that I skipped to the intermission part.
Thanks for the clarification.
AC/DC’s “Jailbreak” is one of two songs that have been permanently banned from Rock Band Night at my bar. The other, obviously, is “Green Grass and High Tides.”
WTB: Electric Six and Pink Floyd :(
U2: Rock Band.
Huge catalog, some variation and young people have actually heard of them.
Absolutely no-one under 20 likes U2, except the ones nerdy enough to know that Joshua Tree and Achtung Baby are good. I think Led Zep and Rolling Stones would both be much bigger as Rock Band games.
My guess is “Rock Band: The Foo Fighters.”

We already have that one.
