Static images don’t do her justice.

As far as Morningwood songs go I’d have bought “Jetsetter”.

It seems like sort of an obvious choice, shame it’s not in.

Not in any way. I haven’t gotten any Queen yet for lack of funds, and I’m jumping to Zombie first. I love Queen, but Rob gets the priority for me.
Required RB Whinge-I’d have taken Never Gonna Stop or SuperChargerHeaven over Burn, but good enough!
I’m not so sure on Wolfmother though. Still seems like Woman is the single most oversold song of all time to me, particular for not being that good. I guess not liking Zep that much means I don’t like Zep rips that much, so maybe it’s just me.

It’s not just you, I can’t stand their singer. I don’t care whether he’s doing it on purpose, it sounds like he can’t hold a note.

After experiencing multiple vocals on TB:RB, it’s really hard to boot up “Under Pressure” and realize that there’s no duet option. They really need to patch this feature into RB2 ASAP; it’s just such an obvious hole in the product.

Happiness is a Fat Bottomed Girl. ;)
Does Lips work with the Rockband mics? I’m only asking as I’m selling the bundled copy of Lips that I got my two mics with :)

Yes, now that RB2 has the Lips patch all mics work everywhere including the wireless ones.
(and btw the Lips 2-pack wireless mic deal is SWEET and getting really hard to find, so get on top of it if you haven’t already. Those wireless mics are fantastic. The Lips game, meh, not so much.)
RB2, but not RB1 - darn!
And yeah, the two pack deal was good, but I paid, like, $99nz for it, not so good. But I’ll sell Lips for 20-30 bucks, making it a good deal after all (ish).

Lips is indeed almost impossible to find. I did a round of about 6 stores with no luck at all…finally ended up at Toys R Us…and found a MS Wireless mic mis-priced…got it for 19.99. The clerk was a big RB fan and basically said, well, wrong price- good for you!
They still have at least one Lips bundle at the Sears around here, for $50ish.
Haven’t seen it anywhere else, though.

Could The Who be the next dedicated RB game?
Rumor: Roger Daltrey reveals The Who joining together with Rock Band
I could totally write this. From the mod years to My Generation on the Smothers Brothers. A psychedelic Tommy/Quadrophenia sequence, Woodstock, Live at Leeds, Cincinnati '79 (maybe not). Smash your guitar for overdrive.
We’re going to need more plastic instruments.
I’d absolutely love this, but I don’t know if I believe it’ll happen and wasn’t just a confused or unclear comment.
Assuming it’s true, Tommy is all well and good, but playing through all of Quadrophenia start to finish…it would transcen-fucking-dental. The Who are obviously at their best in long form where the themes can really open up, and there’s no band that would be better served by this treatment than they would. I’d wonder how (if at all) it would work with the existing Rock Band Who songs / DLC.
Q:The Beatles are the latest band to be featured in a video game, “The Beatles: Rock Band.”
A:The game, yeah, yeah, they’re going to be doing a Who one next year. There is one planned. (The idea) is fabulous. Anything that gets non-musical people interested in music is wonderful. In my opinion, music is our last true great freedom. They can burn our books, they can burn our paintings, but they can’t stop us singing and making music.
Next week’s DLC:
• Foo Fighters – “Best of You”
• Foo Fighters – “The Pretender”
• Foo Fighters – “Wheels”
• Foo Fighters – “Word Forward”
• Nirvana – “About a Girl”
• Nirvana – “Blew”
• Nirvana – “School”
• Joan Jett & The Blackhearts – “Fake Friends”
More Foo Fighters? Really? Have we not had enough of endlessly repeating chords? Oh well, we’ve had a few weeks of awesome and my wallet needs a break anyway.

Fuck you, Foo Fighters are one of the best things about Rock Band.

Might as well have called that the “Dave Grohl Pack”. Heh.
There’s so many bands that don’t have a single song in RB… and we get more Grohl?
