My wife watches Castle and apparently he was playing Dancin with Myself on Rockband. Is that song available or coming soon, because I want it.

I hear Lego Rockband has We Will Rock You and We Are the Champions, but that they are watered down versions of the songs for kids to play.

There’s nothing watered down about We Will Rock You that I noticed. Obviously the song has a very simple guitar track until the guitar solo at the end, even on expert. But that’s not watering anything down, that’s just the way the song is.

If you’re not already interested in The White Stripes, I doubt they’re going to blow you away in Rock Band, but those are solid picks from a catalog that probably doesn’t have many great fits for Rock Band’s four instruments.

Good to know a few of the reviews said the note charts for songs in the game were made for kids, which is understandable.

It’s actually overcharted on guitar, so you don’t have to just sit around during the first half of the song. It’s an incredibly easy song, but it’s not dumbed down at all.

Hey Tom, Led Zeppelin’s (almost) in Rock Band! I mean, one of them is. And the only way they pulled it off is with another helping of Dave Grohl. But that’s not so bad, right?

“New Fang”, the single off the self-titled debut from Them Crooked Vultures, is available today (Thursday on PSN) in addition to the other tracks we mentioned.

Them Crooked Vultures is John Paul Jones (of Led Zeppelin fame), Dave Grohl (maybe you’ve heard of him in one of his other 30+ songs across five different bands in Rock Band already), and Josh Homme (of Queens of the Stone Age fame).
