Also, I’ve just noticed that Left 4 Dead 2 band Midnight Riders have the two songs from the game out on RBN:

Midnight Ride and One Bad Man, 80MSP each rather than being like other game promo songs being free, but still.

Listened to the Coheed stuff on youtube. This is what all the kids are raving about? Sounds like a massive wall of sound and wailing. Woot!, I guess.

I’ve been listening to the new album and it’s not nearly as good as the last one. On top of that, the three songs they picked aren’t the best songs on the album. I’m going to check out the charts first, but I highly doubt I’ll be buying all three. Disappointing.

All 3 C&C songs are pretty fun on the drums. I expected Guns of Summer to be pretty brutal on drums and guitar, and it is.

I need a date to the prom. Would you like to come along?

nobody to go to the prom with me…

Available on Xbox 360 and Wii (April 27) and PlayStation 3 system (April 29):

Busted – “Thunderbirds Are Go!”
Flyleaf – “Again”
Silverchair – “Tomorrow”

Dear HMX,

Is it 2008 all over again? Three songs? smh

Huh. Silverchair.

Haven’t heard from them in a while.

That’s a pretty disappointing follow up to last week. I mean I like American Music, but not all American music.

Fuck Chicken Littles.

On that note, I noticed the Reverend has made it onto RBN. “Indigo Friends” is the song. I’m grabbing that for sure.

Damn. We need this on PS3.

I’m not sure if this has been mentioned in this thread yet, but “Business Time” by Flight of the Conchords is now on RBN. Unfortunately, the chart (at least on Expert Guitar) really sucks. :(

Seriously. I’ve had it for a few weeks, and it’s really, really difficult, but not in the fun way. It’s very similar, in fact, to the track for “Kung Fu Fighting.”

Ugh. The only blight on Lego Rock Band, with an otherwise perfect guitar song selection. But, thanks to Lego Rock Band’s soft fail, I can even get through Kung Fu Fighting on Hard. Though I don’t enjoy the process much. I do love the song, but my god I never realized that song had such a horrible guitar track until I played it in Rock Band.

For us weak fake rock stars, Business Time is a nightmare on drums too. It’s totally simple, but you’re just hitting the high-hat the entire time, and I don’t have the endurance built up to hang with the tempo for the whole song. It was pretty embarrassing slipping badly half-way through what I thought would just be a fun novelty song.

You got a problem, son?

And, why are they in damage control mode, huh, huh, huh?

Available on Xbox 360, Wii and PlayStation 3 system (May 4):

No Doubt – “Different People” +
No Doubt – “End It on This” +
No Doubt – “Happy Now?” +
No Doubt – “Hey You” +
No Doubt – “Sixteen” +
No Doubt – “The Climb” +
No Doubt – “Tragic Kingdom” +
No Doubt – “World Go ‘Round” +
No Doubt – “You Can Do It”
Orianthi – “According to You” +
Picture Me Broken – “Dearest (I’m So Sorry)” *

Orianthi…hmmm…

Wish I saw this before buying it. Just came out on the PS3 and I wanted to give it a try. Fun song to listen to, awful expert guitar chart.

That seems like a weird selection of No Doubt songs. No Spiderwebs, Just a Girl, Sunday Morning, or Don’t Speak?

All already released, in the first No Doubt pack.
