awesome doors tracks, though I’d still really like to see ‘the end’

Yeah, Manzarek played the bass part with his left hand, but there’s no way you can do that with a two octave keyboard. I would think they would have to track his left hand as the bass part.

I did not know that!

I’m probably the biggest Doors fan on this forum – even bigger than someone who uses Lizard King as his username, I tell you! – but I can’t imagine The End would be a very good song for Rock Banding. It’s, like, 28-minutes long and slow and full of Jim Morrison’s spoken poetry hoo-ha about the ancient snake and the killer putting his boots on and mother, I want to blaargghhablarrghhhhh!

If they do a longer blargleblargleblaaaarghhh Doors ballad song thing, I’d prefer When the Music’s Over. I prefer that spoken poetry hoo-ha about what have we done to the earth, tied her with fences and dragged her down, and hearing the butterfly scream.

God, The Doors kind of suck, don’t they? I mean, I love them, but that stuff is pretty bad, isn’t it?

I have absolutely no idea how accurate this is, but from the band’s Wikipedia page:

The Doors were unusual among rock groups because they rarely used a bass guitar when playing live. Instead, Manzarek played the bass lines with his left hand on the newly invented Fender Rhodes Piano Bass, an offshoot of the Fender Rhodes electric piano, playing other keyboards with his right hand.

On their studio albums The Doors did sometimes use bass players, such as Douglass Lubahn, Jerry Scheff, Harvey Brooks, Lonnie Mack, Larry Knechtel, Leroy Vinnegar, Kal Edmondson and Ray Neopolitan.

On another note – you know, we’ve been waiting a while for more Muse stuff, which has been really underrepresented in Rock Band, and there’s not much more in Guitar Hero. I’m hoping that maybe they’ve just been holding out a big album release or two until the keyboard stuff was available, which would be pretty fun.

I’ll cut you.

This seems like the right place to put this:

Edward Furlong sings People Are Strange

The horror…the horror…

There’s quite a bit of music available for download that is pretty far from main stream rock bandy stuff. Even if not everyone would dig it in a party setting, I’d still like to play every part of it at some point.

That is all.

How in the hell does that warrant a “Supervision Recommended” rating?

It’s got the word “hell” in it?

Or maybe all RBN content has that rating? Dunno.

Now we can have two songs with the same name!

Weird, I thought Creep was coming in RB3?

Check another one off the GH2 list!

More of the GH1 list!

Oops, my mistake. Plush is on RB3
