Ok, Pixies apathy, geez. Funkola, you parse words with like a motherfucker.

Anyway, Pixies rule!

I was exagerrating with hate also. I’m pretty much just indifferent toward them. I don’t hate them. I HATE Steely Dan.

The Pixies, like sheep tripe, are an acquired taste. I got Hey! and Here Comes Your Man. The rest is too weird.

I think DLC consisting of entire albums is a great idea…

Unless I do not like the album.

Usually I can find at least one song a per week that I think is worth buying. But the two exceptions are the weeks when Screaming for Vengence and Doolittle were released.

So the Who pack is this coming week, right?

Yes, is coming week! Tuesday week!

Yeap.

“Amazing Journey”
“Baba O’Riley”
“Behind Blue Eyes”
“Eminence Front”
“Going Mobile”
“Leaving Here”
“My Generation” (Live at Leeds)
“Real Good Looking Boy”
“Sea & Sand”
“Summertime Blues” (Live at Leeds)
“Who Are You”
“Young Man Blues” (Live at Leeds)

Two bucks a song, twenty for all twelve.

I wonder if that’s the 15 minute My Generation?

I am praying it is.

They specified somewhere it’s an edited version. I hope it’s not much edited.

How exactly does Hey! work for Rock Band? It’s pretty sparse.

Or is there another version?

It’s the distorted guitar while you’re smoking glaucoma relief…

Harmonix / MTV responds:

"Konami’s actions are extremely surprising. Unfortunately, successful products such as Rock Band can often become targets for baseless litigation.

We have substantial defenses to this claim and intend to vigorously defend it."

So according to Reuters/Kotaku we’re going to slowly get the entire Madden soundtrack as DLC over the next few weeks.

Hm well… the Shinedown track is good!

So is this their way of saying there will be no good DLC between The Who pack and Rock Band 2?

er… yay?

Yea, that’s hardly an exciting list of songs. Hopefully they’ll release that all in one or two big chunks so we might have a chance at some other decent DLC in August.

While I’m not excited about it per se, I am at least intrigued by the possibility of playing Mindless Self Indulgence in Rock Band. The rest of it can go piss up a rope, though.

I’m curious about the Franz Ferdinand song. The only song I know from him (them?) is their one famous song, the one that was in the first Guitar Hero. But I loved that song, even before I played Guitar Hero.

I agree. I really tried my best to get into it, but it’s difficult when the very short songs are scattered throughout my long-ass alphabetical list of downloaded songs. I guess we’re supposed to wait for Rock Band 2 to play full albums in order.
