Hah, I just checked the scorehero forums. MS’s sense of entitlement has got nothing on some of these guys.
This replacement DLC better be awesome for us getting screwed out of Moving Pictures. I’m hoping for 6 or more GOOD songs.
They better give us some free/half priced songs
We shall see, all I know is that they better be good to replace the awesome drum tracks from Rush.

Har, Rush fans have to pay for their disproporionate number of releases in tears. QQ bitches, would you rather have no Rush at all?
Well, that stinks. My wife and I were really looking forward to some YYZ action. Still, I’m glad they’ll release something this week.

Agree with Fugitive; “a couple weeks” sounds like they need to patch the game for some reason.
Hmmm, you’re right, plus that’s around the date when Rock Band 2 comes out too, and we know they have a patch scheduled for Rock Band around that time.

Will there be any DLC for this week to replace the Rush album, or are they just going to skip? I guess Rock Band was not designed to play songs that don’t have all 4 areas covered. I wonder if this means that we’ll see more songs minus certain instruments with RB2?
They did mention in the quote above that they would have replacement DLC this week.

That’s the hope. If they put in Cliffs of Dover I might trade my copy of GH3.
They’ve announced more full album releases, which will come out after Rock Band 2 comes out:
* Foo Fighters -- "The Colour and the Shape"
* Red Hot Chili Peppers -- "Blood Sugar Sex Magik"
* Jane's Addiction -- "Nothing's Shocking"
* Megadeth -- "Peace Sells... But Who's Buying"
* Stevie Ray Vaughn -- "Texas Flood"
You know, those all sound good, but Blood Sugar Sex Magik? They’re going to do that? Is Sir Psycho Sexy just going to be six minutes of silence? Because even the parts where they’re not swearing are a little explicit and I seem to recall that Harmonix had blanked out the word “tits” in a song at some point.
AWESOME. It was odd to so many different genres represented in Rock Band but no blues. Really looking forward to that one.

You know Everlong is actually in Rock Band 2, right?
There are other several other good songs on that album, though, so that’s good news. I will probably buy a total of 2 or 3 tracks from the other 4 albums listed there, though.
They’re also releasing a specially compiled “best of” No Doubt album. Some might scoff, but I’m sure I’ll be getting that. I like The Colour and the Shape, but I hope I’m not committing grand heresy when I say it just might be my least favorite Foo Fighters album. I’d really like to have the complete first Foo Fighters album, and if not that, then “There is Nothing Left to Lose” would be my second choice.
Probably, but I can’t keep track of all that crap.
Yeah, that album is full of awesome.
I’d prefer “Ritual de lo Habitual” but maybe because Three Days is one of my favorite songs. Good to see some Jane’s Addicition in there.

Nothing’s Shocking. Sweet Jesus. Many a time will the shrieks of voices imitating Perry Ferrell be heard from my living room.
edit:
Hopefully we just get Three Days as a separate download.
Texas Flood, baby! I’ve been wanting more SRV since GH1!
And: there’s some really kickass guitar by Dave Navarro on the Jane’s Addiction album.

Hell yes, No Doubt! Spiderwebs will be awsome!
