Arrghhhh! What is going on? I think this thread cursed us all :(

I hopped in my car to drive myself to my CF clinic appointment (first time I got to drive in 3 months!), and it stunk so bad I gagged. Then the air conditioning vent thingie blew out some seed shells and a bit of fluff. It smells absolutely abominable in there. I popped the hood and looked down into the engine areas. I could see some mouse poop and some shelled seeds way down, but I couldn’t find a dead animal.

Any tips to fixing this without infecting my lungs with something nasty? :(

Assuming it’s not inside the cabin, sprinkle some sugar close by to encourage the ants and roaches to come finish it off. It should stop stinking in a couple of weeks since it’s still warm.

$4,000 minimum to fix the massive infestation in my engine :( My car is only worth $10k at best.
Talking to my comprehensive insurance to see if they’ll cover it.

I started a dif thread but if anyone has mouse trap ideas that will not hurt squirrels please let me know.
