Maybe not. Here is a statement from the guy who beat him.
The primary winner (Steven Sainz) still has a hardcore GOP agenda, so he’s hardly going to be a voice of compassion and progress in the Georgia House.
Sounds like the streaming/DVR audience really bumped things up.
Gotta imagine the guy resigning because of the show will only bring in more people.
I’m not sure I believe the cuinceanera segment – it played out a bit too neatly, unlike the mosque segment in Kingman, AZ – but I sure did enjoy it. And I definitely enjoyed seeing Roy Moore squirm.
Otherwise, I’m losing patience with the Oregon liberal sketch comedy routines.

I’m wondering if the “even-handedness” isn’t something Showtime imposed. The segments feel more like filler.
Season finale tonight. The final segment with OJ Simpson more than made up for some of the mis-steps earlier.
