Nice hat :)

I find myself not replaying SR3 after the 50 hours I spent on it, but I’m still running around in SR2, could be cause of all the side missions.

Asked this question in the Steam Sale thread, but…about the SR3 Invincible pack–it’s basically cheats, I gather, but they’re user-invokable and not automatic, I hope? The reason I ask is that it’s a part of a 4 DLC pack (Maximum Pleasure Pack) that costs less than the 4 DLCs do separately (it’s got the shark one, the funtime one, the money shot one and the invincible one).

So what’s the story?

They’re not automatic.

Think there is a cheat menu on your in game mobile phone where you can activate whatever you want, so they probably show up there?

Thanks for the replies. Thus is my decision made. Octopus and shark gun, and Ultor jet bike, here I come.

Just used the Shark gun for the first time. BOOOYAH!

I picked up the Maximum Pleasure pack for $1.74. It contains the FUNTIME! pack, Shark Attack pack, Money Shot pack and the Invincible pack. Great deal and essentially three packs that I would have gotten separately. The mind control exploding octopus gun is worth $2.00 all by itself. I’m not going to mess with the cheats for a while. When I do that in a game it ruins the whole experience for me.

The voice is hilarious.

Edit: The hoverbike in the Money Shot pack is very close to a cheat. I’ll probably just use the sniper rifle and the cool outfit and leave it parked for now.
Edit 2: Or what Papageno said.

Weird, I seem to have ended up with the Nite Blayde pack but have no memory of having bought it. I bought the base game first, then the DLC season pass (which only includes Trouble with Clones, Gangstas, and Genki Bowl VII, right?), and just now the “Maximum Pleasure Pack” which has the Money Shot, Funtime, Shark attack and Invincible packs–so how’d I wind up with the extra?

So I got the game but all these DLC packs are confusing. I was going to skip out on them but are people here recommending at least getting the maximum pleasure and the season pass pack?

The season pass gives you the Nite Blayde pack as well.

Oh, I just saw that. Note to self: D’oh, José, learn to read!

It’s included with the season pass pack.

Stupid question maybe, and maybe already addressed in this long-ass thread. I noticed last night during a mission that there wasn’t any music. Is there supposed to be music while I’m on story missions running through a warehouse or whatever shooting folks? Seemed kind of weird once I realized it.

Sometimes.

I know I’m way, way behind the curve on this one so I don’t have anything new to say. But I feel like an asshole for not buying this game sooner. I guess despite the consensus here and literally everywhere else, I was put off by the furry suits and the giant purple dildos. But man, I am having a blast with this game. Just driving around making trouble, doing whatever activities I happen across. That’s stuff I hardly ever do, even in open world games, being a more narrative-oriented gamer. And the story stuff is great! I’ve read more than one person say the story is just a thin excuse to tool around in VTOLs, but that’s not really fair. It’s a very well-delivered, clever, often terrifically-written thin excuse for tooling around in VTOLs. Having not watched any videos about the game, the VR bit that I played last night just came totally out of left-field and had me laughing out loud. Great stuff. Great game.

And I haven’t put on a furry suit or picked up a giant purple dildo once, so there you go.

I’m running around in a bathrobe and slippers, jacking cars full of people in pig suits. Fun times, fun times…

Is there a way to pick a favorite car? I have this souped up police cruiser and all these missions keep giving me a purple tin-can by default. Also is there some way your supposed to get a huge city income, because the game keeps upping my transfer limit which is pointless unless my city income is going up at a similar rate. Currently I make like 27k per hour (each time the phone has more funds) yet my transfer limit is like 280k.

The huge transfer limit is so you don’t need to check every hour and can let it build up. However, I’m a compulsive, so I constantly check - and I have a feeling most do.

Even if a mission gives you a tin can, you can often walk into a garage and pick a different car. At the penthouse it’s just down the ramps off to the side of the entrance.

Hey is there a limit on the number of cars you can store in the garage? I’ve got like 10…

Yes, its like 40 or so, but you’ll still want more :)
