I looked that up, and yeah, that’s what Huckabee has been doing. This is not the first time that he’s said stuff elsewhere that is totally at odds with his personality when he visits the Daily Show. Arguably he’s more dangerous than most religious loons because he can put on a mask of reasonableness when it suits him.

I don’t understand why people would be upset that she hunted. It’s frickin’ Alaska. Instead people should be upset that she doesn’t know how to handle a gun because the clip of her trying to shoot a caribou (five times!) with her father and some other guy proved that she’s all talk about guns. Before I got my gun license I had to take a firearms safety course and the instructors drilled into our head the rules of gun safety.

In Canada, they are:

She didn’t sight the rifles she borrowed (they could be sighted for a different distance than where the caribou was standing).
