Why do people give a shit what this idiot says?

And nobody yet has, nobody yet has explained to the American public what they know, and surely they know more than the rest of us know who it is who will be taking the place of Mubarak and no, not, not real enthused about what it is that that’s being done on a national level and from D.C. in regards to understanding all the situation there in Egypt. And, in these areas that are so volatile right now, because obviously it’s not just Egypt but the other countries too where we are seeing uprisings, we know that now more than ever, we need strength and sound mind there in the White House. We need to know what it is that America stands for so we know who it is that America will stand with. And, we do not have all that information yet.

Um, what?

Why is it that Sarah Palin quotes always read like something that has been parsed through at least three different languages in Google Translate?

Her brain, you can see Russia from there. ALL THE TIME.

It reminds me mostly of Miss America contestants.

Also.

Have you seen Sarah’s grasp of history, geography or literacy?

She read it on the internet or someone she likes told her its true, therefore it is 100% fact.

We’re talking about someone who likely didn’t know why there were two Koreas and I bet can’t find France on a globe.

I think what she is saying, literally, is “someone please explain why these brown people are upset? Oh, and where is Egypt anyway?”

Why isn’t the NYT discussing what other tv starts think about how Obama handled the Egypt situation? Please can everyone in the media just ignore her? Wait until she decides to run for office to pay attention to her.

Not when she and her ilk control such vast media power.

Fox News plays underdog, but more Americans get their news from it than anywhere else. Which means if Fox News says its news, its “news”. Even if that “news” is saying “person X is full of shit and lying” its still news. Until our media gets back to being neutral and not being propoganda we have to deal with it or else we let the extremes make up whatever they want and have it be “fact” to a large percentage of populace.

Neutrality is not desirable or achievable in journalism. Professionalism is both, and that’s a big part of what makes Al Jazeera the cutting edge.

Fair enough, but its not like anyone at Fox News is a professional barring Shepard Smith either.

Same goes for MSNBC, though Joe is pretty close to professional over there from what I’ve seen.

CNN is pretty professional, but professional doesn’t ratings or viewership ultimately thats all that matters, especially in a propoganda war.

Fox News analyst visciously slams Sarah Pain, BOOM!

…ok so it’s 2 years old, but I still loved it.

That was pretty epic. I’m surprised Fox didn’t cut her off after the first slam, like they do to everyone else that deviates from the hivemind.

Rest assured I wasn’t saying that as a defense of Fox news, I just wanted to disagree with the concept of “unbiased” journalism being the key.

Norwegian, Estonian, Filipino:

Why is it that Sarah Palin quotes always read something that is tested at least three different languages through Google Translate?
I think you need to go with more than ‘three’ if you want to mimic the Palin.

Wait, there are two Koreas?

France is pretty easy to find since we invaded England from there in World War II.

We had to after the Nazis bombed Pearl Harbor.

Trust me, if there’s one thing she knows it’s France and WWII. Because every real American knows the U.S. saved them, along with the rest of the world from Hitler and Stalin during that time. All. By. Ourselves.

Ex-aide about to publish a Palin tell-all book. Some quotage:

Sulli already has his take on it too.
