Is “Rogue” the name of the book? Who wrote it and why should I trust that source? I guess I could look all that up, but I get all my beliefs from the hivemind.

There’s no reason you should care about any of it since it’s about Sarah Palin, who has been lying discarded on the ash heap of history for a while now.
For the record, it’s by kinda-sorta-famous journalist Joe McGinniss, who has developed a strange obsession with Sarah. He seems to be determined to join her out on the ash heap.

It’s really, really difficult to make Palin a sympathetic figure, but Joe McGinniss managed.

Palin banged Glen Rice? Well, I guess she was a baller…

Sad day for comedians and democrats too. Couldn’t have asked for easier jokes and an easier victory.
“This has been prayerfully considered,” the former Alaska governor said on the Mark Levin radio program. [I’m sinking in the polls and have no chance.]
“I can be on the right path without being a candidate.” [I’m lazy and I can make more money as a talking head without having to do any work, like study up on whether Africa is a country – it is a country, right?]
So at this point who is left? Is it Romney’s by default?

May as well throw this in here as well:
Latest Sarah Palin Opens Sixth Seal
Hermann Cain! Pizza for everyone, that’s a slogan with legs.
Prayerfully considered! She couldn’t resist throwing in one last malapropism.

Very smart move by Palin.
I wonder if she was surprised that the public and the press mostly lost interest in her after other candidates actually declared and started campaigning? I think she wanted people to beg her to run and expected a groundswell of support.
I guess that darned liberal press got her with too many “gotcha” questions.

Upstaged an hour after her announcement.

I think she may just be quite happy to rake in the cash doing the tea party speaking circuit. I bet it is a nice gravy train; lots of money for very little work.

I’m betting that “The Right Path” is the name of the Fox News panel show she’ll have next year.
She and Glenn Beck are appearing here in St. Louis on Friday. What’s cool is their rally starts at the same time the Cards play the Phillies. They won’t get much local coverage, ha ha.
She’s about the money and the attention. She doesn’t want to work. If she did she would still be governor.
Arise, oh thread!
The HBO movie “Game Change” comes out this Wednesday, and a slew of Palin aides have come out and condemned the movie as “sick”, “false narrative” and inaccurate.
However:
The half-dozen former top aides to Ms. Palin, the 2008 Republican vice-presidential nominee, said the network did not allow them to see the movie, which is based on the book “Game Change,” in advance of its airing. But the advisers condemned it based on two short trailers and accounts of it in the press.
