You just have to wonder at what point the synapses in their brains fired off the thought, “Hey! Strip searching 11 year olds is a GREAT idea!”
Not only that but…
[i] Green said the school has conducted such searches in the past without calling parents.
“Never had a complaint,” she said. “I can’t say if it happened again I wouldn’t do the same thing.” [/i]
They don’t even see it as somehting that’s wrong.
I think this line is incredibly telling:
“Nobody objected to it. Most of the kids didn’t mind because they wanted to get their name cleared.”
