This is inarguable. That said, I would want the policy to be challenged regardless of who was in the White House. I’m astounded I didn’t really know about it before this President (which says something about the relative crimes of this one vs past ones) but I would have wanted it challenged when Obama was President.
If McConnell tries to fill her seat than the only option is to shut down the Senate with mass demonstrations. Shut down DC. HK style disobedience, disrupt traffic tomthe point where the senate cannot even meet.
Just hang in there for one more year, RBG.
Her refusal to retire while Democrats controlled the process certainly is looking very wise at this juncture!

Hell yeah! He won’t be - but I like the fighting spirit.
This right here. All day long.
“It’s all lies, every word.”
Sadly, doesn’t matter how many accusers. How many women have come forward to say Trump assaulted them? And that was before the election. Didn’t matter.
So nothing will dislodge Kavaungh from SCOTUS, and he will gleefully take his revenge and serve his masters with his votes in decisions until he keels over. Really, what would it take to dislodge? A super majority for the Democrats? That will never happen.

It begins. Evangelicals nationwide are going to be ejaculating in their sleep at the thought of punishing women who have sex.
Abortion is never going away as a hot-button issue in the U.S., even if it becomes illegal. Then it will be a rallying cry from conservatives to vote agains Democrats or else they will legalize baby-killing again!
It’s always going to be a wedge issue and the wealthy elite will continue to exploit it to elect their minions.

Well also, too, if it becomes illegal, many poor women will die trying to obtain back-alley abortions. Actual suffering is at stake here, not just a political football.
And of course the wealthy elite will simply travel to where abortions are legal because they can.
Of course! They will probably have the morning after pill in ready supply too.

As much as I am in favor of gun control, achieving it through product liability litigation seems ass-backwards.

I’m 100% fine with this. There’s no reason the Remington Bushmaster AR-15 should be in non-military hands. If gun manufacturers have to actually face liability when their products are used for mass murder then maybe they’ll rethink their products a bit more carefully.
