Yeah, time to blow some cash.
So. Which races are needing funds? Or is it best to donate to the DNC and let them dole it out?
Hell, how do I get on the invite list for fundraising events? I’ll write checks.
I may or may not be a good man, but I’m fucking ready to go to war. (obligatory nerd reference)

The Senate. Go to act blue and give to Senate candidates. We need to BURY McConnell.

SC, Iowa, Montana, the two Georgia elections if you are looking for stretch seats.
NC, AZ, ME if you are looking to close out races where we have a slight polling lead.
To be clear, there are a couple of ways to donate, but the best is to simply pick the Democratic senatorial candidate of your choice. Or Biden.
Pretty much every major Democratic candidate now uses ActBlue as their fundraising platform. It essentially serves as a sort of PayPal for Democrats and progressives. So those numbers spinning up on the ActBlue dashboard are probably reflective of donations made from campaign websites for various candidates.
So this Stonekettle guy seems very angry, but aren’t Trump voters also partly responsible for the moment we’re in now?

Sure, but you may recall in a couple of really close states third-party candidates got more votes than Trump’s margin of victory. (No, I don’t recall which ones off-hand as I no longer have all my “Fuck it, let’s re-litigate 2016 one more time!” collection of links.) The folks that treat their vote like their virginity or what-the-fuck-ever, rather than something that has consequences beyond how pure they to get to feel (like fucking over entire classes of other people), are more infuriating than a Republican being a Republican I suppose.
This was posted to twitter 13 minutes ago. Figure 2 minutes of lag to post here and there.
ActBlue is now at 6,448,700,000
And counting. In that time.
I posted two donations, one just general Act Blue, the other Jaime Harrison, who I have donated to numerous times. He’s a good candidate who has a great chance of winning.
The hivemind swayed me to donate $25 to Biden. It’s not much, I know, but things are pretty tight all around. Maybe I’ll be able to scrape up some more later.
I’m thinking of Jaime Harrison, Cal Cunningham, Sarah Gideon and Theresa Greenfield for my own donations tonight.

I’m in for Cunningham (NC), Harrison (SC), Bullock (MT), Ossoff (GA), and Greenfield (IA).
I gave to Harrison and Gideon tonight. I think you talked me into Greenfield. She seems like she has a shot…probably not a huge shot, but a shot.
Still need to figure out two more.

Cal Cunningham in NC may do double duty, since NC is in play for Biden as well.
The Texas senator is all about tradition, obviously.
I cannot donate tonight, but I can later in the week. If anyone has a tight race near them that could benefit, please let me know. I live in a solidly blue district so want to help where it matters.
Thank you for your life’s work RBG.
It’s gone up $1.7m in the last 20 minutes. That seems like a lot, although I really have no perspective on what’s normal.
This fund through ActBlue splits the donations among 13 Democratic senatorial candidates:
(It’s the CrookedMedia folks – it’s legit: Tommy Vietor, Dan Pfeiffer, Jon Lovett, John Favreau)
Thanks. Just donated to that as well.
Thanks for the mention, that will be one of my donations.
