I think they key point in that piece is that since the election is just ahead, more people who normally tune out all the crap are paying closer attention. Frankly, only voters who haven’t been paying attention would even consider voting for DJT in 2020. Well, that, and the voters who are as big of scumbags as DJT is himself.

My father pays attention, it’s just paying attention to the wrong sources which is the root of so many of our current ills. I was at his place troubleshooting his internet connection when he asked if I’d take a look at his Kindle tablet as well, he was having some trouble with it. Opening it up, his library was filled wall-to-wall with stuff like this:

I was tempted to destroy the thing as a public service, but alas he’d just spend money he doesn’t have to buy a new one. You can’t fix stupid, especially not at 75 years old, apparently. It’s pretty sad, honestly, I think 40-year old him would have despised the person he is today.

I don’t know much about People of Praise other than what I’ve read online, but this just sounds creepy and not an organization I’d want a Supreme Court justice belonging to.

I think not be a woman would be high on that list. Also, maybe act a little sooner to get out of the US. My wife is looking to move up in higher education and become a dean (she’s currently a professor and department chair), and I’m certainly not against getting a position in another country.
