Nunes handed the Dems a crate full of ammunition to use over the next couple of years. Turning down Flynn’s request for immunity would usually just looks like business as usual, with Congress saying “oh screw you, you’re going down, no immunity for you”. However, after all the shady crap Nunes has done, the Dems have the chance to spin this whole thing as Flynn having information that will bring down the White House and the GOP using its majority in both houses to cover it up.

The challenge for the Democrats will be staying united and coordinated enough to take advantage of the clown fiesta they are being handed.

Aftr Pence’s statement, he makes a very patronizing and very very vacuous sentence, and starts to leave as Pence puts out his hand to stop him, but is ignored. Then as he exits the door Pence catches up and they have a confused exchange. The cabinet secretaries there for the photo op are visibly unsure what is happening. Then Pence sheepishly goes back to the desk, grabs the EO, and ushers them all out. Clearly not according to the normal EO signing script, including the lack of, you know, the signing.
