A new PPP poll says 48% of Americans want Trump impeached. That is an astonishing number; Nixon didn’t hit that level until the final 4 months of his presidency., though those numbers are from Gallup not PPP.
(The same poll also asks the question that’s on everyone’s mind: The Rock would defeat Trump in 2020 42-37. Oh, and people oppose the GOP’s health plan 52-25.)

The revelation adds a potential diplomatic complication to the episode.
Israel is one of the United States’ most important allies and a major intelligence collector in the Middle East. The revelation that Mr. Trump boasted about some of Israel’s most sensitive information to the Russians could damage the relationship between the two countries. It also raises the possibility that the information could be passed to Iran, Russia’s close ally and Israel’s main threat in the Middle East.
