I think the Republicans are hoping that they can just wait for Mueller to supply all the facts alongside all this self-incrimination so they can tell the Trump faction they simply had no choice but to remove him.
I have heard many theories as to how all this got leaked from the White House itself over the last few days…and this isn’t the craziest. It certainly is the most “Holy shit, someone’s playing for keeps”-est.

Here’s a thing which no one has really dug into, but which I expect will eventually come out.
Russia has been cultivating Trump for years. People on his team included multiple folks with tires to Russia going back way, WAY before he became the GOP candidate.
Remember the crazy misinformation campaigns pushed by Trump supporters before he became the candidate? Cause I do. That shit back then had Russian fingerprints all over it.
I’m thinking that Trump didn’t only collude with Russians against Clinton. I’m thinking he colluded with them against other Republicans in the primary.

Some good tidbits in here. The meeting came to light because of Kushner’s people finding the emails and revising his filing. Manafort also discussed the meeting with Congressional investigators. Also Trump’s attorney Kasowitz apparently is considering resigning.
… But it’s just getting started, and it’s gonna keep on giving.
