A good point. The only avenue by which I can refute is that, as has been noted already in this thread, they’re all Fredos.

Hey guys, Tucker Carlson interviewed political expert Scott Adams tonight, and he said that this Trump stuff is all just nothing.

Sorry. Nothing to see here.

Scott Adams? Scott Adams??? He’s totally insane now. Why would they interview him of all people?

Tucker being compared to Lindbergh by LTC Peters was great though

Did he then rant about how all those women on Fox were draining the life force of the hard working men there?

Josh Barro is floating an interesting theory that it’s Pence (and/or people on Pence’s team) that are leaking these emails.
That would be so karmic it can’t possibly be true, but since we’re well past the event horizon now anything is possible.

What’s sorta lost in this latest “nothingburger” (lol oh god was that part of the RNC talking points we didn’t get to see this time around?) is all the lies since June, from not only trump and his sycophants but Republicans as well. They are all complicit…

But it’s “Fake news.” “Hoax.” “No evidence of collusion.” “Jr is not part of the regime administration.” “Collusion is not illegal.” (Reading some random Twitter threads, the cultists are “bu bu bu Hillary! Uranium! Pay to play!” I wonder if they even realize how broken they are? Nah.)

Republicans: Patriots. Lovers of the Constitution. Family values.
Benghazi!

And because there might be some more questions on the “but it’s not illegal” front:

This seems…bad, at least on the surface.

(Do read that with a grain of salt. McClatchy is a good news org, but this story has loose ends that are left dangling all over it in the way its written.)

Because it’s Tucker Carlson and Fox, no other explanation required.

I’m convinced the really important story behind the election meddling isn’t about the Trumps at all, but about voter data sharing between the Russians and big data billionaire and Trump campaign financier Robert Mercer.

But who knows whether we’ll ever get to the bottom of it - unlike the Fredo family, Mercer seems to be not totally incompetent.

Tucker Carlson confuses me. He obviously styled himself as a latter-day Buckley when he was younger. He looks like the kind of guy who got straight A’s in school. How can he countenance Trump? He seems like he at least ought to be on the National Review side of things, triangulating between “at least he’s better than Hillary” and “man, he’s really pretty awful, we should have nominated Ted Cruz, let’s hope the GOP survives this kerfuffle.”

I guess it comes down to paychecks, as so many things do.

You nailed it. Someone gave him a prime time gig. He’ll wear whatever mask they ask him to.

He’s always been a lazy hack, and yet extremely defensive about it. Jon Stewart nailed him years ago with that Crossfire segment.

So, who would you rather have as president? Trump or Scott Adams?

Ya, he merely presented himself as the IMAGE of someone like Buckley. He never had the actual intellectualism or conviction that Buckley had. He never stood for anything.

Ol Buttercup himself, Lindsay Graham, seems to be at least mildly suggesting that:

  1. Junior is probably in some deep shit, and
  2. Administration officials may have assisted in a coverup by drafting Junior’s original statement aboard AF1

At least Scott Adams can draw cartoon characters.

But that goes directly back to the Trump team, at the very least, via Bannon and Cambridge Analytica. Still, I would imagine Mercer himself has plausible deniability.

Wasn’t Mercer the one who tried to take over the Thieves Guild by murdering the old leader? Fuck that Mercer guy.
