So by the end of today will it be war with North Korea or Pence taking over as Trump resigns to spend more time with his family.
By the end of today Republicans will pass the tax bill and Hannity will have a hot take on how Trump Did Nothing Wrong.
How does this tend to work though? Doesn’t copping a plea on lying to investigators render any testimony you provide that isn’t backed up with documentary evidence rather suspect? Both as an admitted liar and as a motivated witness?

Right, they will probably use Flynn’s testimony in two ways: one, as a source of information to lead them to other evidence such as other people to interview, documents, etc. Second, they will likely use his testimony directly, but with corroboration to strengthen it’s credibility, such as having the dates, times, travel, meetings, and so on all verified by other evidence. Between those two techniques, the testimony of a “flipped” co-conspirator can be key to a mob/RICO/corruption type case (which is what this case is, writ very very large.)
This seems like a big deal.
