Anyone know which would be the better way to support your favorite bands? I enjoy the quick and simple downloading off Itunes, but would it benefit the artist more by buying their retail album in stores?
The best way? Pirate the music and send the band money in an envelope.

They dont get much from album sales OR itunes. Buy extra concert tickets and/or shirts and just pirate the music. Merch and tour stuff gets them the most.
They’ll make a zillion percent more.
I think they do pretty well if you buy the album at their concerts.
Though if they’re signed to an evil major label, there’s no helping them. Many contracts now have the label getting a percentage of tickets and merchandise sales at concerts.
