I truly love this exchange.

Head of the RNC was one of the position Bush 41 held. It’s great way of her getting known by local politicians.

It appears Ossoff has passed the 0.5% automatic recount margin now.

Good. Get to work cleaning up the garbage asap.

NBC and ABC projecting Ossoff as the winner.

Oh, right, this happened! Was that really just last night?

-Tom

Ossoff leads by 25,000 votes, above half a percent.

AP and NYT have joined the chorus projecting him as winner.

The needles look so peaceful when they’re sleeping!

$50 says they don’t use tear gas, rubber rounds, salt rounds, microwave guns, water cannons or anything more punishing than a snowball

I would hope that Warnock and Ossoff wouldn’t even resort to throwing snowballs. Are you sure you’re in the right thread?

CNN just called it for Ossof too.

Hallelujah!

Are both of these official yet or… still waiting? I am losing track of what had my attention earlier today.

Military/Overseas have until this Friday to come in but there’s not a ton of votes there. Then they will be certified the following Friday (assuming I understand the rules right).

Okay. Another Friday wait.

Heh. Thank you.

Don’t worry, we have an insurrection to watch meanwhile.

My boss’ boss basically told us he would understand if we were distracted today due to the count, the count that usually takes 20 minutes… I am thinking this went on longer than he thought it was but I also know not as much work is being done as anyone expected.

Ossoff’s lead climbs to 32,400.

.73%. Will end up larger, I think. The “Overseas/military” ballots are heavily skewed Democrat (because “Overseas” dominates “Military” on number of ballots received.)

32,400! And probably more. Impressive. (Perdue was a terrible candidate, yes, but it is GA)

Ossoff’s lead is now 35,600 votes. 0.8%.

If I were a betting man, the 1.1% final percentage margin the Times has estimated since last night seems pretty close.

(Warnock’s lead over Loeffler is 73,000 votes +)
