Maybe she realized she doesn’t want to work in a place that’s so easily overrun?

I’m hoping that maybe she realizes that there is no reason to add yet another chink to what is left of our armor AND… since rumor has it Trump hates her, what’s the point anyway?

Well, she really really wanted to be the Vice-Presidential nominee. And maybe things would have worked out differently if she had less time to campaign for the runoff, but Fair Fight was already in place. And with her on the ticket perhaps there would have been no runoff to begin with.
Looking back at the VP thread she garnered zero support in the all-important QT3 demographic. Bet that wouldn’t be the case today!

I was all for her, and would be again, but what she did in georgia was likely more important to the country than her being VP. She’s 48 years young and awesome, so I have no doubt that she’ll get on the national stage soon enough.

OMG at first I thought you were all talking about Loeffler!
BTW, tomorrow’s the deadline for overseas/military ballots.
Currently Ossoff leads by 0.93%, or 41,000 votes.
Warnock’s more robust lead is 1.8%, or 79,000 votes.
Both of those leads could grow a little more. Neither is going to be overturned, and both could be sworn in and seated by the end of next week.

It’s still a little hard for me to believe. I really truly thought Rs would take both seats.
So awesome.
OH!
One thing I totally forgot about.
The happiest man in America at the two wins in Georgia: Stephen Breyer. He’s 82.
I am hoping he joyfully embraces retirement in the next 20 months at some point.

Supreme Court Justice Hillary Clinton coming right up!
I like this, but seriously someone younger.
Biden has pledged that his first appointment will be a black woman. Preferably about 40-48 years old.

How old is Michelle Obama? :)
Note: I’m kidding about this. He should nominate someone with a strong history of jurisprudence.
Stacy is 47, Michelle is 56. (I was curious) Harvard, and Yale law respectively.
I’m personally hoping that Stacey runs against President Romney in 2028.
Yep. Retire, Stephen, your seat is safe.

Hillary? Please.
It should be Barak the rock Hussein bring the pain Obama.
Give him the Taft!
I wouldn’t mind a whole lot if they found the most brilliant progressive legal mind in the the country. Who happens to be 32 years old. With 95 year-old great grandparents who are still living.
I feel like it’ll be 2 terms of Biden unless he has health issues.
For Stacey, my guess is another shot at Georgia Gov, then using that as a leap board for President in 2028. She’ll be a spry 55, ready for all challengers.

Nobody seems to be talking about this but honestly a Justice Obama would be amazing IMO.
I’d be okay with Obama, but that would likely upset DJT, and I think we need to be careful of his feelings in this delicate time.
