Shifts in party makeup: professionals and business owners

You know that stuff about income inequality and increasing gap between the parties?

Within each occupatoin class, we’re plotting Republican presidential vote (relative to the national mean each year); you can see some striking trends, with professionals (doctors, lawyers, teachers, etc) going to the Democrats and business owners going to the Republicans, among other patterns.

Is there a link to view the tables at full size that I’m missing? Those graphs are postage stamp sized.

Doesn’t look like it, ugh. Try saving it to the desktop and zooming or something.

Business owners are not synonymous with rich.

Didn’t mean they were; “rich” now means something like over 10 million in assets. It’s hard to find owners below, say, 50k, though.
