New series coming to Apple TV end of April, of the mind bending thriller variety.
Based on the Lauren Beukes novel I presume. If I remember right, the book kind of devolved into dumb supernatural horror like King at his most drugged. Beukes is a dynamite prose stylist, but hard to see how that quality of hers translates to screen.
It’s a thriller about women qua women in peril starring Elizabeth Moss. I guess this is her thing now, like Liam Neeson and revenge thrillers.
Thought this was fairly decent. Show has a complete story but they could do a season 2 if they really wanted. Doesn’t really address how things work but it’s also not that kind of mystery show.
