Something that pisses me off, why do animators think that shadows are all that is necessary to make a tv show into a movie? Particularly in the case of the Simpsons, which has more money than god; if they think that shadows and CGI make it a better product, then why the hell aren’t they already doing it? Considering the penetration of the Simpsons (and I don’t mean those faxes you used to get) if they can improve the product by .1%, they’ve made enough money on a similar hike in advertising income to pay off a hundred shadow animators.
