With his luck there will be prisons in Heaven, too. I’m sure there’s something like Gitmo tucked away up there somewhere at least.

I dunno, it’s not a bad argument. If I were the judge I wouldn’t even assess him court costs before sending him back to jail.
This book looks amazing.
Also, there are actually two hilarious 1-star reviews; the other is also someone that never bothered to actually look inside, review the author, look at reviews, or presumably, read the effin’ title.
(I’m ordering this for my Mom as a Christmas gift - she likes birds, and will think this is hilarious).

Cool looking book, you’ve given the author a couple more sales @gruntled!
This is a picture I guess and lacking any other thread.
You know how on reddit What Is This Thing people always turning up weird things in basements and crawlspaces or explosive junk or to the point they have a template reply?
Someone found this.

“CRIT No more than 40 in one location” is a bit of a red flag eh

I like how the guy is just, “whatever it’s not my house, I’m going into the mountains.”
Enjoy the cancer I guess.
On some level this is Timex’s “remove warning labels and let things sort themselves out” in action.

The folks who are like “u gonna die!” Are being a bit silly. Given the warnings, the fact that it’s encased in concrete means that it’s probably fine and hasn’t irradiated anyone. Opening the box likely didn’t cause any significant exposure unless they just opened it and stood next to it for a long time.
Honestly, I’m really curious as to what exactly it is, and why it’s there, and where it came from.
It looks like it was actually built into the concrete there. I wonder if it’s just a safe or something, where they slapped a warning on the outside of it to prevent people from looking inside.
Maybe it’s full of pinball machine parts.

From the dude: “I definitely fondled that lid for a good amount of time.”
So… yeah. And they apparently didn’t contact anyone or do anything about it.
Most people think it’s Radium of some sort.
There’s no good reason for something like that to be present in someone’s house.
Maybe the previous owner was some deranged radiologist who stole the material from his job at a hospital? (Doctors do some weird shit from time to time.) But given the house is in Utah, who can really know. In Utah there may be more silos than hospitals.
