I would have a little trouble on a 100% blank gray world map too. I would have to find Iraq first… then move over to the right. Or find India first, then inch over to the left to Pakistan, then inch over further…

It doesnt surprise me at all. A major grouping is clustered in the middle east and thats probably about as much as you should expect on a completely unmarked map. I am baffled by the ones that are out in the middle of the oceans though. I am curious as to who the respondents are, that were used to make this map.
